A blaster may suffice as well, but only one that fires a single shot. ![]() You will need to equip a SINGLE weapon that fires a single straight shot like a rail gun, a laser or the electricity gun. The requirements for this though are VERY finnicky and yet another reason it’s better to wait for a second playthrough for good guns. It’s possible to complete it the first time through but it would be significantly more difficult. Two, attempting this on a second playthrough of the game as you will have your upgrades and hopefully an arsenal of good guns. One, before attempting this, back your save up to a USB drive or the PSN Network in case you mess something up and need to reload it. This can also be combined with DO YA, PUNK?ĪIN’T GOT TIME TO BLEED – Complete a mission without killing anything except the boss: The only spot this is possible on is Main Mission 4. Simply run through them from start to finish and the trophy will pop on the mission completion screen. The very first mission in this ship is a bunch of completely empty levels. Or, you can do it the very, very easy way: wait until you have completed the main story and a mission will open up in the lower left quadrant of the missions map with a big exclamation point on it. The hard way would be to try and do it the way you may end up playing a lot of the game poking your head out of the starting door without triggering the enemies, looking for the exit door, shooting it to get it to open and then making a mad dash for it doing your best to avoid all enemies and incoming fire, praying and hoping all the way. NOT A SCRATCH – Complete a mission with out taking any damage: There’s an easy way and a hard way to do this. Fire a shot into their midst and boom – trophy. If for any reason you need to actively try for it, just craft a gun with rockets or some such explosives on it and kite some flying enemies around. SPLASHPARK – Kill 5 mobs in one shot: Another easy trophy that will likely come without even trying and be one of your first trophies. This will likely be one of you first trophies and will come without you even trying. Just craft a gun where the DPS of the parts adds up to more than 100. GUNSHOW – Craft a gun with a DPS of over 100: This is practically unmissable. This trophy, like some others in the game will pop on the mission complete screen. WELCOME TO THE RESISTANCE – Complete your first mission: Self-explanatory. ![]() You’ll kill hundreds and hundreds of these on your way to platinum, if not over 1,000. Save this as one of you last trophies to minimize the grind. Hope this proves useful!īUZZKILL – Kill 1000 Spinbots: Self-explanatory. For anyone curious, I’d give this about a 5 or maybe a 6 out of 10 in terms of difficulty to platinum, as much is dependent on luck due to the random generation aspect of the game, and some poor design choices tend to hamper some things play-wise. Since there’s not much information out there on this game, I figured I’d post some up in hopes that it proves useful to anyone going for the platinum. Mothergunship: Forge is a must-have VR experience and demonstrates so much potential, both for the future of virtual reality games and for its own future and the future of Terrible Posture Games as a developer in the VR space. Here’s a loose trophy guide for anyone interested in taking on the platinum of MOTHERGUNSHIP, an FPS, bullet-hell game. The graphics and sound design in Mothergunship: Forge are also well-done and contribute to the immersion, but the standout is undoubtedly the gun-building physics and the use of VR technology to put players more directly in the game. With a few updates, the gameplay experience can be even stronger and easier to master. Despite the somewhat simplistic premise, the possibilities and variety do feel endless. Mothergunship: Forge feels far different than other wave shooters in the best way and gives players multiple customization options to build some incredible, zany creations. The randomization of the roguelite mechanics ensures almost endless replayability. Overall, Mothergunship: Forge comes out of the gate strong and gets more fun with each subsequent run. Small quality-of-life improvements like this can continue to elevate the game and make it stronger than it already is. Better visualization would make aiming each part of the weapon a little easier, though this matters less with bouncier and more explosive rounds and upgrades. In addition, it is somewhat hard to see the aiming reticle, though it is there. ![]() It would help to have a bit more range than just turning, even if it was just to step forward and back. For one, though players can duck and move around, they are largely rooted to one spot for most of the run. ![]() There are a few minor ways Mothergunship: Forge could improve.
